Slip stitch – sl.st

Double crochet / Single crochet – dc / sc

Treble / Double crochet – tr / dc

Double treble / treble – d.tr/tr

1 d.tr/tr decrease – 1 d.tr/tr dec.: work 2 incomplete d.tr/tr, yarn over and draw up through all loops. 3 half tr / half dc puff stitch – puff st.

Circle

Work 5ch and make sl/st in last ch.

Round 1: 7ch, * 1 d.tr/tr in ring of 5ch, 3ch; rep from* 6times, sl.st in 4th ch.

Row 2: 2ch, * 4dc/sc in space of 3ch, 1dc/sc in d.tr/tr; rep from * 6 times, 4dc/sc in space of 3ch, sl.st in 2nd ch. Fasten off.

Work and join circles until you reach you desired light of the edging. To join circles together work next:

2 dc/sc in space of 3ch.

Drop the loop from your hook, insert your hook from front to back under the top 2 loops of the 2nd stitch of the group of another motif, grab the dropped loop with your hook and pull it through the stitch.

Work 2dc/sc in the same space of 3ch.

Fasten yarn to 1st circle (see pictures below). Row 1: work 1ch and 1dc/sc in the same st,

8 ch, skip 3st, 1d.tr/tr in next st,

* 3ch, skip 4st, work in the same st: [ 1d.tr/tr, 3ch, 1 puff.st in two loops of d.tr/tr (see pictures below), 1ch, sl.st in the same space of d.tr/tr] rep 3 times,

1 d.tr/tr; 3ch, skip 5st. Work 1 d.tr/tr dec.: 1st incomplete d.tr/tr work in next st, skip 4 st of next circle and work 2nd incomplete d.tr/tr in next st (see pictures below); rep from*.

For last circle work next: 3ch, skip 4st, work in the same st: [ 1d.tr/tr, 3ch, 1 puff.st in two loops of d.tr/tr (see pictures below), 1ch, sl.st in the same space of d.tr/tr] rep 3 times, 1 d.tr/tr; 3ch, skip 5st, 1d.tr/tr in next st, 8ch, skip 3st, 1dc/sc in next, 8ch, skip 4st, 1d.tr/tr in next.

Work on opposite side: * 6ch, skip 4st, 1dc/sc in next, 6ch, skip 5st. Work 1 d.tr/tr dec.: 1st incomplete d.tr/tr work in next st, skip 3 st of next circle and work 2nd incomplete d.tr/tr in next st; rep from*.

For 1st circle work next: 6ch, skip 4st, 1dc/sc in next, 6ch, skip 5st. Work 1st incomplete d.tr/tr in next st, and 2nd incomplete qdr.tr / trp.tr in 1st ch of the row (see pictures below), yarn over and draw up through all loops, turn.

Row 2: 4ch, * work 1tr/dc + 2ch + 1tr/dc+ 2ch in space of 6ch below; rep from*, work 1tr/dc + 2ch + 1tr/dc+ 1ch in last space of 6ch and 1 tr/dc in d.tr/tr below, turn.

Row 3: 3ch, 1 tr/dc in space of 1ch, 1tr/dc in next st, * 2ch, skip 2ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc, 2tr/dc in space of 2ch, 1tr/dc in tr/dc below; rep from*, 2ch, skip 2ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc, 1tr/dc in space of 4ch, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 4: 6ch, 1d.tr/tr in 3rd tr/dc below, * 2ch, skip 2ch, 1d.tr/tr in tr/dc below, 2ch, skip 2st, 1d.tr/tr in next st; rep from*, 2ch, skip 2ch, 1d.tr/tr in tr/dc below, 1ch, 1d.tr/tr in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 5: repeat row 3.

Row 6: * 5ch, 1dc/sc in space of 2ch; rep from*, 3ch, 1 dc/sc in 3rd ch, turn.
