How To Crochet a Granny Circle Photo Tutorial

Instructions
Ch 3, counts as 1st double crochet + base chain.
Round 1: dc 1 into 3rd ch from hook (base chain), *ch 1, dc 2 into base ch*, repeat from *to* 4 times, ch 1, sl st in top ch from beg of round (=18 st).
Note
To change color: Fasten off, cut yarn, and make slip knot with new color.
Continue with same color: sl st loosely in next ch-space and ch 2 (counting as the first dc on next round.
Do the same for all following rounds.
Round 2: *dc 2 in next ch-sp, ch 1, dc 2 in same ch-sp, ch 1*, repeat from *to* until end of round, sl st in 1st dc (=36 st).
Round 3: *dc 3 in next ch-sp, ch 1*, repeat from *to* until end of round, sl st in 1st dc (=48 st).
Round 4: Repeat round 3.
Round 5: *dc 3 in next ch-sp, ch 1, dc 3 in same ch-sp, ch 1*, repeat from *to* until end of round, sl st in 1st dc (=96 st).
Round 6: Repeat round 3.
Round 7: Repeat round 3.
If you want to make your granny circle bigger, continue increasing like this:
– Round 8 increase with 1 extra 3-dc group in every other ch-space.
