How to Crochet the Yarn Under Cluster Stitch Photo Tutorial

The Yarn Under Cluster Stitch is a unique looking stitch pattern that you will want to try in your next crochet project!
Most of the time when I work a crochet stitch, I will wrap the yarn over my hook before pulling it through or drawing up a loop. In this cluster stitch pattern we will instead wrap the yarn under our hook before drawing it through.
This motion gives our stitch pattern a slightly different look and feel that I absolutely love!

Notes
This stitch is worked in rows in this tutorial and it may be worked in one colour or many. I will be working this pattern in a single colour.
To begin, make a slip knot and make a foundation chain. For this stitch, you will need an odd number of stitches for your foundation chain.
For example, ch 31.
Instructions
Row One:
YU sc in the 2nd ch from your hook, yu sc in each st across, Ch 2, turn.
Row Two:
Working in the blo all the way across, YU CL beginning in the 1st st, YU CL all the way across. Ch 1, turn.
Row Three:
Working in the flo all the way across, yu sc in the 1st st and in each across, ending with working the final st in the turning ch-2 sp. Ch 2, turn.
And that’s it!
For the rest of the pattern simply repeat rows 2 and 3. Fasten off, weave in your ends.
