Linked Half Double Crochet Stitch (Lhdc) Photo Tutorial

I love learning new crochet stitches and I am always on the hunt for something simple with a unique look. The Linked Half Double Crochet Stitch was a fun & easy stitch to learn and it is just a simple variation of the half double crochet stitch.
Basically you are linking two half double crochet stitches together which eliminates the gaps between the stitches.
Perfect for potholders or dish cloths – or items you don’t want to see the gaps.
The linking of the stitches gives a unique appearance and texture to your finished project. And even though your work is flat there is a subtle ribbed look that I really like!
