Blackberry Salad Crochet Stitch Photo Tutorial

- Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton! in Coral (Color A)
- Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton! in Cream (Color B)
- Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
Abbreviations
- yo = yarn over
- RS = right side
- ch(s) = chain(s)
- sc = single crochet
- st(s) = stitch(es)
- dc5tog = double crochet 5 together
Special stitches
dc5tog: *yo, insert hook in st indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops* repeat between * * 4 more times (6 loops on hook), yo, pull through all loops on hook.
Notes
- Multiples: stitch is worked in multiples of 4 + 1 for foundation chain
- Sample: chain = 33
Instructions
Row 1: With Color A, (RS) 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped chs count as 1st st), 1 dc in remaining chs to end.
Row 2: With Color B, ch 1, 1 sc in same st, 1 sc in next 2 st, *dc5tog in next st, 1 sc in next 3 st,* repeat between * * to end. Turn.
Row 3: With Color A, ch 3, 1 dc in each st to end. Turn.
Row 4: With Color B, ch 1, 1 sc in same st, 1 sc in next 4 st, *dc5tog in next st, 1 sc in next 3 st,* repeat between * * to last 2 st, 1 sc in last 2 st. Turn.
Row 5: With Color A, ch 3, 1 dc in each st to end. Turn.
Continue repeating rows 2 – 5 to desired size.
