Foundation Chain: Multiples of 12 + 1

Pattern notes:

- Work in back loops only.

Row 1: skip 1ch, work 1slt in each of next ch, turn.

Row 2: make 1ch, work 1slt in each of next sts, turn.

Row 3: repeat Row 2.

Row 4: make left side cord: work 7ch, skip 1ch, work 1slt in each of next 6 ch.

* Continue the row: make 1slt in each of next 12 slt; work middle cord: work 7ch, skip 1ch, work 1slt in each of next 6 ch, 1ch, turn;

work 1slt in each of next 6 slt, 1ch, turn; work 1slt in each of next 6 slt; rep from *.

Make right side cord: work 7ch, skip 1ch, work 1slt in each of next 6 ch, 1ch, turn; work 1slt in each of next 6 slt.

Drop the loop from your hook and take the next color. Fasten to the last slt of Row 4. Keep all cords in front of your work.

Row 5: make 1ch, * work 1slt in each of next 2 sts, 1dc/sc in each of next 8 sts, 1slt in each of next 2 sts; rep from *, turn.

Rows 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14: repeat Row 5.

Drop the loop from your hook, insert your hook into the loop of the right side cord, grab the dropped loop with your hook and pull it through. Continue crocheting with the next color.

Row 15: make 1 ch, work right side cord joining: insert your hook into the top of the cord and back loop of the first slt and work 1slt.

Rows 20, 22, 24, 26 & 28: make 1ch, * work 1dc/sc in each of next 4 sts, 1slt in each of next 4 sts, 1dc/sc in each of next 4 sts, turn.

Row 29: make 1ch, 1slt in each of next 5 sts; make middle cord joining, 1slt in each of next 5 sts, turn.

Repeat rows 2 – 29 until you have reached your desired length.
