Chainless Starting Double Crochet Photo Tutorial

Materials

• Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton! #4 yarn (works with any yarn)
• Size 7 (4.5 mm) Clover Crochet Hook

Instructions

To begin pull up a tall loop to the height or just slightly shorter than a standard double crochet.

Swing your crochet hook behind the tall loop you just made. Hold both loops securely with finger.

Insert hook into same stitch (base of tall loop).

yarn over and pull up a loop

yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook continue to hold 1st loop firmly (2 loops remaining)

yarn over and pull through remaining 2 loops on hook. Chainless Standing Double Crochet made.
