6. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
7. Chain eight and turn your work around. Next you will make a slip stitch working in the fourth chain from your hook.
Row 2
8. So, insert your hook in the fourth chain from your hook.
9. Yarn over.
10. Pull the yarn through. Now you have two loops on your hook.
11. Pull the first loop through the second one. You have just made a slip stitch and completed a picot.
12. Make a double crochet in the next single crochet.
13. Chain five.
14. Make a slip stitch working in the fourth chain from your hook.
15. Make a double crochet in the next single crochet.
16. Then repeat. Chain five.
