Crochet Basics: Wattle Stitch

The crocheted wattle stitch is quite simple and creates a beautiful texture that I especially like for baby blankets. However, it also works wonderfully for scarves and tea towels.

Once you have done a few repeats, you will not need a pattern, so you can perfectly recreate this stitch while watching your favorite show TV. I do not know about you, but quiet crochet stitches are my favorite. When you get into a good rhythm while crocheting, it's perfect for mindful crocheting.
