I love lint rollers – they are such a practical tool for helping to keep the house in order. Super-sticky, lightweight and cheap, they make quick work of picking up life’s tiny messes. I highly recommend having a stock of them in your cleaning cupboard or, better still, stash a few away in the drawers of every room so they are always to hand.
A little bit of common sense before we get started: always use a new sheet for each task. As soon as the lint roller is dirty, and they do get dirty quickly, remove the sheet and continue with a fresh one. Discover some great ideas of how you can use lint rollers around the house!
1. Picking up glitter
Removing glitter from surfaces is a real pain. Many vaccums struggle to pick up glitter, so it can be left for days, attach itself to people’s feet and then make its way around your home. Grab a lint roller and zip up those sparkling particles – it’s so easy.
2. Broken glass

7. Cars
There are lots of nooks and crannies in cars, between and below the seats, on the dashboard, and in the doors, where lots of little particles, crumbs and dust accumulates, especially if you have kids. A lint roller can really help clean these up.
8. Curtains
A lint roller can make the dusting of curtains so easy. Simply work on a section at a time.
9. Removing dandruff from clothing
If you are a dandruff sufferer, lint rollers are a great way to remove white flakes from your shoulders. They are easy enough to carry around in your bag or briefcase, too.
