Curling Waves Crochet Border tutorial

The Curling Waves Crochet Border is a crochet border with a unique ocean wave-like appearance. An easy two row stitch pattern with a lot of wow factor! Don’t worry, this border isn’t as complicated as it may appear. The base of the border is a row of single crochet with chains and skipped stitches. The waves are multiple double crochet stitches worked over a previously worked double crochet post. Really easy to do once you know where you are working those stitches.

Abbreviations:

RS = right side

sc = single crochet

ch = chain

sk = skip

st(s) = stitch(es)

sl st = slip stitch

dc = double crochet

sp = space

Pattern notes:

This stitch pattern requires stitch multiples of 4 + 1 additional st for each corner.

Written pattern instructions:

Time needed: 1 hour
