Row 2: (light pink yarn). In this round we will make petals for the flower. You should work 5 tr/dc around first 3 ch and each tr/dc.

Make 3 ch, then insert hook behind 3 ch (see picture below) and work 5 tr/dc, 1 dc/sc in next tr/dc.

Make 2 ch, then insert hook behind tr/dc (see picture below) and work 5 tr/dc, 1 dc/sc in next tr/dc.

Continue in this way until you get 8 petals. Work 2 sl.st in first 2 ch of the round.

Row 3: (red yarn). In this round we will make arches of 3 ch and 5 ch. The dc/sc we will make in space of 2 ch of first round. Work 1 ch, 1 dc/sc in space of 2 ch, 3 ch, * 1 dc/sc in space of 2 ch, 5 ch, 1 dc/sc in space of 2 ch, 3 ch; rep from* 2 times, 1 dc/sc in space of 2 ch, 2 ch, 1 tr/dc in first ch of this round.

Row 5: (red yarn) 2 ch, 2 dc/sc in tr/dc below, 1 picot of 3 ch, * 2 dc/sc in each spaces of 2 ch, 1 picot of 3 ch, 3 dc/sc in tr/dc below, 2 ds/sc + picot of 5 ch + 2 dc/sc in space of 3 ch, 3 dc/sc in tr/dc below, 1 picot of 3 ch; rep from* 2 times. At the end 2 dc/sc in each spaces of 2 ch, 1 picot of 3 ch, 3 dc/sc in tr/dc below, 2 ds/sc + picot of 5 ch + 2 dc/sc in space of 3 ch, sl.st in second ch.

Connection:

Motifs connect to each other across picots. The pictures below show this in process. For 5 ch picot connection divide picot on 2 parts: 2 ch and 3 ch.

Work 2 ch, release the hook from the loop, insert it in into picot of 5 ch another motif then insert hook

again in the loop with 2 ch.

Pull the loop through picot then work 3 ch (the first of 3 ch will look like slip stitch), then finish picot as usual.

For 3 ch picot connection divide the picot on 1 ch and 2 ch.

When you should connect one motif to three another across 5 ch picot, work connection as usual but insert the hook through two picots at once like at the pictures below.
