Crochet Basics: Ripple Textured Stitch

Font Post tr / Font Post dc – FPtr /dc Back Post tr / Font Post dc – BPtr /dc Stitch – st

Foundation Chain: Multiples of 14 + 13

Row 1: Skip 1ch, 1dc/sc in each of the next 6ch, skip 2ch, * 1tr/dc in each of the next 6 ch, 2ch, 1dc/sc in each of the next 6ch, skip 2ch; rep from*, 1tr/dc in each of the next 3ch, 2tr/dc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: Make 1ch, 1dc/sc in first st, 1FPdc/sc over the each of the next 5tr/dc below, * skip 2dc/sc below, 1tr/dc in each of the next 4dc/sc, 2tr/dc in space of 2ch, 1FPdc/sc over the each of the next 6tr/dc below; rep from*, skip 2dc/sc below, 1tr/dc in each of the next 3dc/sc, 3tr/dc in last dc/sc, turn.

Row 3: Make 1ch, 1dc/sc in first st, 1BPdc/sc over the each of the next 5tr/dc below, * skip 2FPdc/sc below, 1tr/dc in each of the next 4FPdc/sc, 2tr/dc in space of 2ch, 1BPdc/sc over the each of the next 6tr/dc below; rep from*, skip 2FPdc/sc below, 1tr/dc in each of the next 3FPdc/sc, 3tr/dc in last st, turn.

Row 4: Make 1ch, 1dc/sc in first st, 1FPdc/sc over the each of the next 5tr/dc below, * skip 2BPdc/sc below, 1tr/dc in each of the next 4BPdc/sc, 2tr/dc in space of 2ch, 1FPdc/sc over the each of the next 6tr/dc below; rep from*, skip 2BPdc/sc below, 1tr/dc in each of the next 3BPdc/sc, 3tr/dc in last st, turn.

Repeat rows 3 - 4 until you have reached your desired length.
