Who doesn't love mason jars? They're wonderful for storing food, organizing, and even crafting. But did you know that the lids are also useful on their own? Below I've found some awesome mason jar lid tips and hack that will help you a lot around the house. They're ideas that are easy to make and will make your life so much easier. 1. Perfect poached eggs

Who says it's hard to get a perfectly poached egg when you can use a canning jar lid to make it really easy? All you've to do is put the lid on the bottom of the pot, add some vinegar to the boiling water, and crack the eggs right over the lid to drop them in. Cover the pot and in a minute you've a wonderful poached egg.

2. Bake mini cakes

If you're hosting a kids' party at home (or even an adult gathering), you can make mini cakes by using the lids as baking pans. It's totally cute, fun, and of course, tasty!

3. DIY coasters made from mortar jar lids.

These DIY coasters are easy and inexpensive to make. All you need are wide-mouth mason jar lids, thin corkboard, and a stamp for extra decoration.

4. Mason Jar Lunchables

If you're looking for the perfect place to store crackers and spreads, Mason jars are a great choice. Simply fill the jar with a spread, place the lid on top and cover with an upside down fruit cup to store your crackers.

Now fill your jar with some snacks and you're all set.

I like peanut butter jar to keep any left over onion or green onions in the fridge. It keeps the smell in the jar not in fridge
