1. Tea bags

One tea bag is enough for two cups of tea - maybe even three or four. To get the most out of your brew, steep your tea in a teapot on the stove. If you only drink one cup in the morning, put the used tea bag in the refrigerator and use it again later in the day to relax your eyes. Cool tea bags work wonders for puffy and irritated eyes.
2. Parchment paper

Got a birthday party coming up? Bake several batches of cookies on the same piece of parchment paper. Most brands are oven safe up to 450 degrees - and as long as there's nothing stuck to the paper that could easily burn, you can reuse it.
3. Clean Swiffer dusters.

The pads attached to the bottom of your Swiffer do not have to go in the trash when you have done your work. Fill your sink with warm water and soap and swish the duster around to prepare it for a second use. Roll the pad in a towel to remove extra moisture. Allow it to air dry.
4. Shower curtain

Just because it's plastic does not mean it has to be thrown away. Instead of throwing away a soap scum stained curtain, try the following. Take the curtain off the hooks and put it in your washing machine with regular detergent and a cup of baking soda. Hang the shower curtain back up to dry. Do the same for plastic shower curtains.
5. Old towels

If your bath towels are fading and getting holes, do not throw them in the trash right away. Cut them up and use them as washable cleaning cloths to clean dirty floors, cars, pets and more. If you are creative, you can even turn them into DIY creations like bath mats and soft dog toys.
6. Canning jars.

Give them a quick wash and you have got yourself a reusable glass container. Use them to store "leftovers, homemade sauces, frozen soups and dried teas." They can even be used as small planters.
7. water jugs

You can use water, milk or laundry detergent jugs as weights instead of buying expensive exercise equipment.
8. Underwear

Use old underwear and t-shirts as cleaning cloths instead of buying towels. They are great for dusting, wiping down countertops, and even washing your car.
