Crochet Tutorial: Flower Puff Stitch

You are going to have a lot of fun with this stitch – so beautifully textured & gorgeous! A puff stitch is worked around a dc stitch from the previous row which makes the stitch stand out beautifully creating a stitch that looks like a flower rosebud!
Special stitches:
dc group = 3 dc st worked in same st
FPP (front post puff stitch): *yo, insert hook around middle dc of dc group, yo, pull up a loop,* repeat between * * 3 times (9 loops on hook), yo, pull through 8 loops, yo, pull through remaining 2 loops.
Long dc: dc st worked below into st of previous row indicated.
Instructions
1. Multiples: Stitch is worked in multiples of 3 + 2 for foundation chain
2. Sample chain is a total of 29
3. Row 1: With color A, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across to end. Turn. (28)
4. Row 2: ch 3, 1 dc in same st, *sk next 2 st, 3 dc in next st,* repeat between * * to last 3 st, sk next 2 st, 2 dc in last st. DO NOT turn!
5. Row 3: Attach Color B to 1st st of row 2, ch 3, 1 dc in next st, ch 2, FPP over middle dc of dc group from previous row,
6. *ch 3, FPP over middle dc of next dc group,* repeat between * * to last 2 st, ch 2, 1 dc in last 2 st. Turn.
7. Flower Puff (FPP): *yo, insert hook around middle dc of dc froup from row below,
8. yo, pull up a loop*
9. repeat between **3 times (9 loops on hook),
10. yo, pull through 8 loops,
11. yo, pull through remaining 2 loops.
12. Row 4: With Color A, ch 2 (does not count as st), 1 hdc in same st, 3 long dc over ch 2 from previous row & between dc group from two rows below, 3 long dc between each dc group to last ch sp, 3 long dc over ch sp from previous row, 1 hdc in last st. Turn.
13. Work 3 dc froup over ch 3 from previous row and between 2 dc groups from 2 rows below.
14. Row 5: with Color B, ch 3, FPP over middle dc group from previous row, *ch 3, FPP over middle dc of next dc group,* repeat between * * to last st, 1 dc in last st. Turn.
15. Row 6: with Color A, ch 3, 1 dc in same st, 3 long dc between each group from 2 rows below, 2 dc in last st. Turn.
16. Continue repeating rows 3-6 to desired size.
