I think it’s a good idea to recall some old-fashioned hacks in such a way that they can easily be used in today’s world. It’s advice that is proven, timely, economical and environmentally friendly. Over the years I collected various clever solutions, useful hints, practical tips and helpful remedies, and will keep sharing them with you. 1. Cleaning Silver With Toothpaste.

That might sound weird, but believe me, toothpaste really removes the tarnish! Coat the silver with toothpaste, and then rub into a foam under warm water, then rinse well to remove the toothpaste.
A toothbrush can be used, but don’t brush to hard as toothpaste is mildly abrasive and could damage jewelry or antiques.

2. Cleaning Stainless Steel Appliances.

Clean with a damp cloth and then to bring up the stainless steel use some kitchen towel with a little baby oil. This will bring a nice shine to the appliances.

3. Deodorant Stain Removal.

To help remove a deodorant stain from a normally washable dress or shirt dab the stain with white vinegar before washing in the normal manner.
