Instructions:
1. Aluminum Foil & White Vinegar: Dip aluminum foil in the vinegar then use it to scrub away rusted areas.
2. Vinegar Soak: Soak the rusty items (such as tools) in vinegar for a few hours or overnight. The rust will simply drop off.
3. Lime & Salt: Sprinkle a little salt on the rust then cover with freshly squeezed lime juice. Let it soak for about 3 hours then scrub off the rust with the lime rind.
4. Water & Baking Soda: Make a thick paste of baking soda and water. Apply the paste on the rust then scrub with an old toothbrush.
5. Dish Soap & Potato: Cut the potato in half then dip the cut end in dish washing soap. Now use this soaked end to scrub away the rust. Cut off the rough potato layer and reapply dish soap at brief intervals. This works well for old loaf tins.
