How to Crochet the Berry Stitch Photo Tutorial

The Crochet Berry Stitch is an easy way to create a bobble stitch that looks like a little “berry”.
It makes a lovely alternative to the crochet puff stitch and a beautiful textured stitch. It’s a perfect stitch for crochet blankets and washcloths because of its nice texture.

Materials
- Crochet hook 5.0 mm / H
- Worsted (#4) weight yarn – I used Knit Picks – Mighty Stitch
Abbreviations
- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- yo – yarn over
Notes
- The Berries are worked on the wrong side of the project so they will “pop” on the right side.
- If you want the berries to pop more, you can work a slip stitch instead of a single crochet after the Berry Stitch.
