Crochet Drawstring Makeup Pouch Pattern

Materials
- Acrylic Aran Yarn
- 5mm (H) crochet hook
Size
- 16-17cm tall
Abbreviations
- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- dc – double crochet
- sl st – slip stitch
- st(s) – stitch(es)
- sk – skip
Instructions
Pouch
Chain 20
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st until the end of the row, ch1, turn = 19
Row 2: sc in each st, ch1, turn
Row 3: sc in each st, turn
Row 4: ch3 (counts as 1dc, dc iin each remaining st, ch1, turn
Row 5: hdc in each st
Repeat Rows 4 and 5 18 more times until your piece is 35cm tall
Rows 26 and 27: sc in each st, ch1, turn
Fasten off, weave in the ends.
Fold the strip in half and use sl st to correct the sides from the pouch.
You can also sew the sides together with your yarn and needle
String
Chain 70
Row 1: sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in every remainiing ch = 69
Fasten off, weave in the ends.
Thread the string through the first DC row from the top, in and out all around the pouch.
