Instructions
Row 1
1. Start by chaining a multiple of three plus two. You will start working in the second chain from your hook.
2. So, make a single crochet in the second chain from your hook.
3. Chain three.
4. Skip two stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
5. Then repeat. Chain three.
6. Skip two stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
7. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with a single crochet.
Row 2
8. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.
9. Make a double crochet in the first stitch.
10. Make a single crochet in the chain three space.
11. Make three double crochets in the next single crochet.
12. Make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
13. Then repeat. Make three double crochets in the next single crochet.
14. Make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
15. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
16. At the end of the row make two double crochets in the last stitch.
Row 3
17. Chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.
18. Make a single crochet in the first stitch.
19. Chain three.
20. Skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
21. Then repeat. Chain three, skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
22. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
23. At the end of the row chain three as usual and make a single crochet in the turning chain.
For the rest of the pattern repeat rows 2-3.
