How to Crochet the Twin V Stitch Photo Tutorial

The Twin V Stitch is a simple to work stitch! Made with clusters of double crochet stitches, this pattern works up quickly.
The Twin V Stitch looks the same on the back and the front. Because the design works up quickly, it lends itself well to a variety of projects including crochet afghans.

Instructions
This stitch is worked in rows in this tutorial. At the end of each row you will need to chain 3 and turn your work.
To begin, make a slip knot and then chain your desired number of chains. For this stitch pattern you will need a multiple of four (4) stitches for your foundation chain.
For my swatch I will be making a foundation chain of 20 chain stitches.
Row One:
Once you have chained the desired number of chain stitches, work 2 double crochet stitches into the fifth chain from your hook, work 2 more double crochet stitches into the next stitch.
Skip the next two chains.
Work 2 double crochet stitches into each of the next 2 chains.
Skip the next 2 chains and repeat the process above all the way across to your final 2 chains.
Skip the next chain and double crochet in the final stitch.
Chain 3 and turn your work.
Row Two:
Skip the first 2 stitches, work 2 double crochet stitches in each of the next 2 stitches.
Skip the next 2 stitches and work 2 double crochet stitches in each of the next 2 stitches.
Repeat this last step all the way across to your finally 2 stitches.
Skip the next stitch and double crochet in the top of the turning chain.
And that’s it!
For the rest of the pattern simply repeat row 2.
