Aligned Cobble Crochet Stitch Tutorial

Today you will learn the Aligned Cobble Crochet Stitch. This easy textured crochet stitch combines tall and short stitches and reminds me of a bobble or popcorn stitch.
I had a hard time nailing down a name for this stitch. In the book I found it in it was called the nubby stitch but I have also seen it called the cobble stitch and mock bobble stitch. I ultimately decided on the Aligned Cobble Stitch because it seemed more common.
I think this stitch would be perfect for any number of different projects like: cozy blankets, scarves, dishcloths and other homewares.
