Instructions

Row 1

1. Start by chaining a multiple of eight plus three. You will start working in the fourth chain from your hook.

2. So, make a double crochet in the fourth chain from your hook.

3. Chain two.

4. Skip two stitches and make three double crochets in the next stitch.

5. Chain two. Next you will skip two stitches and make a double crochet three together working in the next three stitches.

6. So, yarn over.

7. Skip two stitches, insert your hook in the third stitch and yarn over.

8. Pull the yarn through. Now you have three loops on your hook.

9. Yarn over.

10. Pull the yarn through the first two loops. The first leg is ready.

11. Next you will make the second leg in the next stitch. So, yarn over.

12. Insert your hook in the next stitch, yarn over and pull the yarn through. Four loops on your hook.

13. Yarn over and pull the yarn through the first two loops. Now you have three loops on your hook. The second leg is ready.

14. Then make the third leg in the next stitch. Now you have four loops on your hook.

15. Yarn over and pull the yarn through all four loops. You have just made a double crochet three together!

16. Chain two.

17. Skip two stitches and make three double crochets in the next stitch.

18. Then repeat. Chain two.

19. Skip two stitches and make a double crochet three together working in the next three stitches.

20. Chain two, skip two stitches and make three double crochets in the next stitch.

21. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row until you have four stitches left.

22. Chain two. Next you will make a double crochet two together working in the last two stitches.

23. So, skip the next two stitches and make the first leg in the next stitch.

24. Make the second leg in the last stitch. Now you have three loops on your hook.

25. Yarn over and pull the yarn through all loops. You have just made a double crochet two together!

Row 2

26. Chain five and turn your work around.

27. Make three double crochets in the next three double crochets.

28. Then repeat. Chain five.

29. Make three double crochets in the next three double crochets.

30. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

31. At the end of the row chain two and make a double crochet in the last double crochet.

Row 3

32. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.

33. Make a double crochet in the first stitch.

34. Chain two and make a double crochet three together working in the next three double crochets.

35. Then repeat. Chain two.

36. Make three double crochets in the third chain of the chain five.

37. Chain two and make a double crochet three together working in the next three double crochets.

38. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

39. At the end of the row chain two and make two double crochets in the third chain of the turning chain.

Row 4

40. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.

41. Make a double crochet in the second stitch.

42. Chain five and make three double crochets in the next three double crochets.

43. Then repeat. Chain five and make three double crochets in the next three double crochets.

44. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

45. At the end of the row chain five and make a double crochet in the last double crochet.

46. Then make another double crochet in the turning chain.

Row 5

47. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three does not count as a stitch.

48. Make a double crochet in the second stitch.

49. Chain two.

50. Make three double crochets in the third chain of the chain five.

51. Then repeat. Chain two and make a double crochet three together working in the next three double crochets.

52. Chain two and make three double crochets in the third chain of the chain five.

53. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

54. At the end of the row chain two, make a double crochet in the last double crochet and another one in the turning chain.
