Instructions

Row 1

1. Start by chaining a multiple of seven plus four. You will start working in the fourth chain from your hook.

2. So, make a double crochet in the fourth chain from your hook.

3. Chain two, skip two stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

4. Chain two, skip two stitches and make two double crochets in the next two stitches.

5. Then repeat. Chain two, skip two stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

6. Chain two, skip two stitches and make two double crochets in the next two stitches.

7. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with two double crochets.

Row 2

8. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.

9. Make a double crochet in the second stitch.

10. Make a double crochet in the next chain two space.

11. Chain three and make a double crochet in the next chain two space.

12. Make two double crochets in the next two stitches.

13. Then repeat. Make a double crochet in the next chain two space.

14. Chain three and make a double crochet in the next chain two space.

15. Make two double crochets in the next two stitches.

16. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

17. At the end of the row make the last double crochet in the turning chain.

Row 3

18. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.

19. Make a double crochet in the second stitch.

20. Chain two and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.

21. Chain two, skip the next double crochet and in the next two stitches make two double crochets.

22. Then repeat. Chain two and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.

23. Chain two, skip the next double crochet in the next two stitches make two double crochets.

24. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

25. At the end of the row make the last double crochet in the turning chain. 

For the rest of the pattern repeat rows 2-3.
