Instructions
Row 1
1. Start by chaining a multiple of four. You will start working in the eighth chain from your hook.
2. So, make a double crochet in the eighth chain from your hook.
3. Chain four.
4. Skip three stitches and make a double crochet in the next stitch.
5. Then repeat. Chain four.
6. Skip three stitches and make a double crochet in the next stitch.
7. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with a double crochet.
Row 2
8. Chain five and turn your work around.
9. Make a double crochet in the first chain four space.
10. Chain four.
11. Make a double crochet in the next chain four space.
12. Then repeat. Chain four and make a double crochet in the next chain four space.
13. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. Then chain four as usual.
14. Skip the next two chains of the turning chain and make a double crochet in the next chain. For the rest of the pattern repeat row 2.
