To Make a 15 cm x 15 cm / 6 x 6 Inch Square
With the hook & yarn give, I crocheted:
- Ch 24 st, for a total of 23 stitches per row.
- 31 rows.
Instructions
Base row:
Ch a multiple of 8 st. Sc 1 in 3rd ch from hook, sc 1 in each ch from previous row.
Row 1:
Ch 1 (counts as 1 sl st), sl st in FL of the next 2 st, *sk 1 st, FLesc 1 in next st, FLesc 1 in prev st, sk the 2 FLesc st just made, sl st in FL of the next 6 st*, repeat from *to* until you have 4 st left, sk 1 st, FLesc 1 in next st, FLesc 1 in prev st, sk the 2 FLesc st just made, sl st in FL of the next 2 st, turn.
Ch 1 (counts as 1 sl st), sl st in FL of the next 2 st
1 stitch skipped and pull up a loop from the front loop of next st.
Yarn over and pull through the first loop on hook.
Yarn over and pull through both loops on hook.
Draw up a loop of front loop of the skipped stitch.
Loop pulled up.
Yarn over and pull through first loop on hook.
Yarn over and pull through both loops on hook.
First row finished.
Row 2:
Ch 1 (counts as 1 sl st), sl st 1 in BL of each st from prev row, turn¨.
Row 3:
Ch 1 (counts as 1 sl st), sl st in FL of the next 6 st, *sk 1 st, FLesc 1 in next st, FLesc 1 in prev st, sk the 2 FLesc st just made, sl st in FL of the next 6 st*, repeat from *to* until end of row, turn.
Row 4:
Repeat row 2.
Repeat row 1-4 until project is desired size.
