The pattern needs a multiple of 12 + 3 number of stitches; your starting chain will be a multiple of 12 + 4 for an extra turning chain.

With your 5 mm / US H–8 hook, ch 28.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across, turn. <27 st>

Row 2: Ch 1, sc, [[bobble, sc] 4 times, sc 4] twice, bobble, sc, turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc across, turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, sc, [bobble, sc 5] 4 times, bobble, sc, turn.
