Little square:

For the Little square work Rounds 1, 2 and 3 of big square and Rounds 2 and 3 of edging. Middle part of square (yellow yarn) consist of 3 foundation chains.

Connection:

The pictures below show connection process. In space of 1 ch work 1 dc/sc + 1 tr/dc.

Release the hook from the loop, insert it in into the same stitches of another motif. Insert hook again in the loop.

Pull the loop through stitches, then work 1 dc/sc + 1 tr/dc in the same space of 1 ch.
